Here are a few of the parking places I frequent in my travels around Portland.
Making friends with a Ducati.
Waiting outside the jail.
This is the crew I hang with. No, actually it's the motorcycle corral at one of the hospitals. Quite a bit of Italian iron here on any given day.
Ciao for now.
Mike, in the last picture, that silver fairing'ed motorcycle next to yours....what was it? I'm guessing Ducati with a vintage fairing?
ReplyDeleteVery interesting pictures. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteDo all doctors ride Ducatis?
Charlie6 (Dom):
ReplyDeleteBoth bikes next to mine are Ducati's. The silver one with the fairing is a Paul Smart 1000. I think the other one is a "Monster" or a "Streetfighter". Both nice bikes!

I've been wondering if doctors own any of these. I chatted with an emergency room nurse a couple of months ago. She had a sport bike and was new to riding. It would be interesting to know.
Were these recent photos? Hard to believe so many would still be riding to work.
ReplyDeleteYou have a keen eye and your police background is still sharp. These were all from sometime in the fall (or so). On Monday afternoon that "corral" was empty.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing sitting by your computer on a Saturday afternoon? Oh, wait, uh, forget I was here!
ReplyDeleteI just ran a quick errand on the bike and thought the same thing about you!
ReplyDeleteHi Mike,
ReplyDeleteThat corral looks more like a display. Nice spot to park your ride!
Kari,
ReplyDeleteDuring the riding season (as with this picture) it's sometimes hard to find a spot. The lighting kind of makes it unique and there are usually nice bike there. Those two Ducatis are almost always there. Hmmm... I should find out who they belong to.
