Fred Jordan Mission Harley Ride

I missed posting this event a couple of weeks ago but it's worth a look because the message never gets old.

Greg Laurie is a Pastor/Harley rider in Southern California. Here is a link to his blog on this event. Greg's Blog.

  1. Thanks for posting this - Greg's a great Pastor.

  2. Indeed Lance. I like his down to earth humble manner and good sense of humor.

  3. People always seem to have mistaken impressions about bikers, Harley riders, scooter riders, whatever. I have found that most riders are essentially just like everybody else, just with a different hobby.
    Have a great new year

  4. cpa3485 (Jim),
We had a neighbor in our cul-de-sac when we lived in California who walked down his driveway each morning in a three piece suit with briefcase in hand and got into a VW bug to carpool with two other guys. He looked like a real executive except for the VW part. On weekends the garage door would open and he and his wife would roll out on a chopper and ride with other yuppies in the Santa Monica mountains. He even had a pack of cigarettes rolled up in the sleeve of his t-shirt. His hobby was the opposite of his Monday thru Friday appearance but you're right, they were essentially just like everyone else.

Happy new year to you too Jim.
